Dove are animals from the order columbiformes. They are stout bodied birds with short necks and short slender bills and their wings actually make up to 40 percent of their body weight because of how muscular they are.

Mourning doves can reach speeds up to 55 miles per hour.
Doves primarily feed on grass & grain and they also need water to survive.
Note: Doves lives on wood lands, urban areas, and some species take up residence in dense forest where they are seen perched on power lines and in tree branches.
